We intend to promote the supremacy of God in all things for the blessing of all people through renewal of the church and revival among the community.
In pursuing this mission, we are guided by the conviction that God is most glorified by teaching that is most faithful to his Word, and by lives that are most obedient to his will, as revealed in the Scriptures.
We believe that Reformed theology is the most faithful, complete and mature expression of biblical teaching, that leads to the deepest and most comprehensive Christian obedience through the grace of God and the power of the Spirit.
Goals
Our goals include:
-
To organize and host an annual conference on Reformed theology to bring together believers from many churches to enjoy a time of excellent teaching, worship and fellowship, to mobilize the gifts and resources of the regional church to bless the greater community through the proclamation and demonstration of the glory of God, and to provide excellent materials for the edification of the church.
-
To develop fraternal relationships among area churches, ministries, pastors and believers.
-
To engage the community with the claims of Christ.
History
The Princeton Regional Conference on Reformed Theology was organized in March, 2003 as a ministry of Grace Covenant Fellowship in partnership with the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. We have enjoyed the gracious participation of gifted speakers and the help of numerous volunteers and the support of a growing number of churches and ministries in the Princeton area, including Grace Community Church, Hope Presbyterian Church, Westerly Road Church, Princeton Evangelical Fellowship, Manna Christian Fellowship, the Christian Union and the Jonathan Edwards Institute.
