Why the Appalachia Conference on Thelogy & the Church?
The Appalachia region has been long neglected by God-centered, gospel-saturated movements. It is our goal to turn the tide and see the truths of God's supremacy once again echo through the mountains and valleys of our region. Ultimately, this goal will only be realized as pastors and local churches are faithful to God's Word and obedient to God's mission. The ACTC exists to encourage and strengthen local churches to this end.
Why a Conference on the Centrality of the Gospel?
A better question might be, "Why not a conference on the centrality of the gospel?" What could better stir us toward obedience and faithfulness to the mission of Christ than two days of focusing on that truth which we boast in, the gospel of Jesus Christ?
We have asked Phil Johnson & Burk Parsons to join us on November 4th & 5th to take us to the heart of the gospel and remind us of God's great love toward sinners. We are praying that God will use these two days to strengthen our understanding and passion for the "old, old story" for His glory in Appalachia. We hope you will register and join us!
