God Has Spoken
Blue Ridge Bible Conference 2017
March 31-April 1, 2017
Covenant Presbyterian Church
Audio available soon.
The goal of the Blue Ridge Bible Conference is to edify the church of Jesus Christ through the study and application of God’s Word. We seek to equip pastors, elders, and laypeople from various churches throughout our region with deep and abiding confidence in the authority and sufficiency of God’s Word. By this we seek to glorify God and bless His church.
The 2017 conference God Has Spoken comes to Harrisonburg, Virginia on March 31-April 1 with speakers Gregory Beale, Aimee Byrd, Jonathan Master, and Carl Trueman. Please consider joining us. We know you will be blessed as, together, we sit under the teaching of God’s inerrant, authoritative, and life-giving Word.

Gregory Beale is professor of New Testament and Biblical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. His expertise is in the use of the Old Testament in the New and its contribution to biblical theology, the unity of the two Testaments, and the hermeneutical significance thereof. Dr. Beale’s academic degrees include a B.A. and M.A. from Southern Methodist University, Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Beale is a member of several scholarly societies and has served as past president of the Evangelical Theological Society. Dr. Beale and his wife currently reside in Philadelphia. They have three grown children.
Aimee Byrd, an ordinary mom of three, lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia with her husband, Matt, and three children. Aside from that amazing gig, Aimee managed to make a fool of herself in martial arts training, survived college, dabbled in ceramics, owned a coffee shop (The Mudd Puddle), become a blogger, and does a little speaking on the side. Since her children's schedules have majorly cut into her social life, she has resorted to writing Housewife Theologian and Theological Fitness, while keeping her blog alive and co-hosting Mortification of Spin with Todd Pruitt and Carl Trueman.
Jonathan Master teaches theology, church history, and New Testament at Cairn University. He also oversees Cairn’s honors program, part of Cairn’s Center for University Studies. Dr. Master also serves as executive editor of the online magazine Place for Truth, as well as host of the podcast Theology on the Go (both sponsored by the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals). He has authored the book A Question of Consensus and a number of articles, in addition to editing The God We Worship. Prior to teaching, he served in pastoral ministry for ten years.
Carl Trueman is a speaker on the Mortification of Spin podcast, professor of Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary, and pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. He has an M.A. in Classics from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in Church History from the University of Aberdeen. He has authored a number of books, including The Creedal Imperative and Luther on the Christian Life: Cross and Freedom. He lives in Oreland, a suburb of Philadelphia, with his wife Catriona.
