Join Us in Accomplishing God's Work

January 1, 2012

Dear Friend,

Let me begin by expressing my sincere hope that you enjoyed a truly blessed Christmas and that the New Year brings you God's blessings in great abundance.

Please know that all of us here at the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals continue to keep you and your family in our prayers and that we thank the Lord each day for your fellowship and support.

You may recall a short note I sent last October explaining that the Alliance was facing a critical cash-flow crisis which posed a serious threat to the future of our ministry.

As a friend of the Alliance, you have a right to know the details of this budget crisis and how it could affect our ability to accomplish the work God has called us to do.

Thanks to the financial support of faithful friends like you, we've been able to raise $149,000 of the $287,000 needed to eliminate our crippling deficit.

The generosity of our friends has been a constant source of hope and encouragement during this very difficult period. And thankfully, we're beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.

But the fact remains that we still need to raise an additional $138,000 in order pay our creditors and save this ministry.

Over the last 3 months, we've managed to pay off quite a few of our overdue bills by scaling back programs, cutting costs and delaying several new ministry outreach initiatives.

Although these cuts have been painful, they've allowed us to continue bringing the message of God's saving grace to thousands of people through our core ministry programs and world-wide broadcasts.

However, over the last several months our financial situation has remained tenuous. And in response to this ongoing crisis, our Board of Directors has given me a deadline of February 14th, just two weeks ahead of their next meeting, to raise the remaining $138,000.

Without the financial support of faithful friends like you, I'm afraid this $138,000 debt could very well bring our work to a virtual standstill.

And if that happens, our Board of Directors will have no choice but to take drastic action.

That's why I'm asking if you can find it in your heart to give a one-time emergency donation of $25 before the February 14 deadline.

If you've already sent a contribution to help put the Alliance back on solid financial ground -- I want to personally thank you for your generosity.

But if you haven't sent a donation yet, I hope you'll prayerfully consider giving a gift of $25 to help us continue working to call the Church to repent of its worldliness, recover its strength, and once again, confess the truth of God's Word.

I understand that times are tough for everyone right now. And if you can't afford to give a $25 donation at this time, please don't worry or feel guilty.

As the apostle Paul wrote, "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).

So if you're not able to contribute $25 today, I hope you'll commit to offering daily prayer for the Alliance instead.

Your prayers are powerful and we desperately need them.

Please rest assured that the future of this ministry is in God's hands and that we have placed our trust entirely in His infinite love and mercy.

If you support our mission to bring true Biblical reformation to the Church and believe that the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ must be delivered to a world in desperate need, I hope you'll give a gift of at least $25 today.

The February 14 deadline is only 4 weeks away.

And 4 weeks leaves us very little time to raise $138,000.

I understand that I'm asking a lot from you. But a future without the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals is simply hard to imagine. And that's why it's so important that you give your $25 gift as soon as possible.

Grace, mercy and peace to you,

Robert Brady
Executive Vice President

P.S. We live in very difficult times and I know I'm asking a lot from you. Please prayerfully consider if you can help us close the $138,000 budget gap and give a one-time gift of $25 before the February 14 deadline.

I thank you in advance for your prayers and support.
