Reformation Society Leadership Summit
August 17 – 19, 2009
Indianapolis, Indiana

Like last year, Second Reformed Presbyterian Church has opened their facility to us for this exciting and productive time. Our exact schedule and agenda continue to unfold. But we look forward to a nice sit-down style dinner on Monday evening, where we hope to reacquaint with each other. Then we will spend all day Tuesday and Wednesday morning working. Yes, that is an additional half-day – we just ran out of time last year! We will find food and refreshment for all during your stay.

It is our desire to see all those interested in the work of Reformation Societies to be present. The Alliance also stands ready to assist in transportation or accommodation for those who are active Reformation Society lay or pastor leaders.

This year we expect to spend less time with just a couple up front and more time in small group fashion. We already have one leader stepping up to moderate a group on “when challenges face the pastor.” Also everyone will have an opportunity to add hand or comment to the National Operations Manual for the Alliance’s Reformation Societies. If you would like to lead a small group work through an issue or struggle facing you, the Church, or Reformation Societies, let us know so we can plan it.

Leading or not, please call Cindy Sparlin (800-956-2644 ext. 21) so we can count you in. Also, let Cindy know as you make your travel plans so we can be prepared for when you arrive and when you need to depart. But call today so you don’t forget!
