Retreat Description

When was the last time you and your fellow church leaders had a chance to learn and grow together? The Faithful Shepherd: Persevering in Your Church and Ministry is a retreat from P&R Publishing and the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals that covers important issues that every pastor and elder should consider in his labors. The 2016 retreat will address the pastor’s personal reading of Scripture, self care, practice of Christ-like leadership, and the task of reaching his community with the gospel, among other topics.

Come to the retreat to learn from other pastors (both speakers and fellow attendees), find encouragement in your ministry, rest, and to get away. The beach is a short walk from the conference grounds, and ice cream socials each night make for a lively time of fellowship.

The retreat is open to men who are ministers, missionaries, chaplains, elders, deacons, and seminary students. Wives are also welcome to attend! We also welcome those who are considering the post of deacon or elder and would like to be better equipped in their calling.
